Construir Cine is a one-of-a-kind Festival in the region, and its primary purpose is the finding and promotion of films that address universal issues that affect workers around the world, and also consider work as a force of change in people's lives. Its next edition, the eighth, will take place in Buenos Aires, from May 13 to 29, 2021.
Well aware of the power of stories to inspire people and allow them to see the world from another perspective, Construir Cine takes on the challenge of linking art to social impact, and also to be an environment aimed at disseminating and rewarding audiovisual works that seek to influence the social and labor reality of Argentina and the world.
The Festival seeks to foster creativity and support the dissemination of audiovisual works that contain stories about work and workers, privileging their point of view on the world and social issues affecting their daily work, the life of their families and the reality of the community to which they belong.
Construir Cine is organized by CONSTRUIR TV - the Television channel of the UOCRA Foundation for the Education of Construction Workers, which belongs to the UOCRA Social Network and is part of the Global Labor Film Festival.
